Cloud Architecture Diagram Editor

Add something. Drag an icon in from the left palette, or click it to drop it in the middle. Group, Text and Note are in the toolbar above — Text is bare glyphs, Note is a box with a background.

Connect two nodes. Click a node; four dots appear on its sides. Drag one of those dots onto another node. Select the line afterwards to change its route, arrowheads, or make it animate.

Draw a boundary. Select the nodes that belong together and press Group (Ctrl + G) to wrap them. With the group selected, pick a Preset at the top of Properties — VPC, Public or Private subnet, Availability Zone, Region, AWS Account, Kubernetes Cluster, Namespace, Security Group, On-premise.

Restyle it. Everything lives in Properties on the right. Drag a corner handle to resize — except Text, which has no box and is sized with Font size. Notes and groups keep their Text colour separate from their border and fill.

Move around. Scroll to pan. To zoom, use the − 100% + bar at the bottom-right of the canvas — − zooms out, the middle resets to 100% — or Ctrl + scroll, or Ctrl + − / +. The corner-brackets button in the toolbar fits the whole diagram to the window (Ctrl + 0); it is not a zoom-in button.

Bring your own icons. The Custom tab imports any SVGs off your machine — a vendor pack such as Azure’s, or your team’s internal marks. They are kept in this browser and never uploaded, which is also why they follow the browser rather than the diagram: a file opened elsewhere shows placeholders for them.

Share a link. The chain-link button copies a URL with the whole diagram compressed into it. Nothing is uploaded — a URL fragment is never sent to a server — so the link works for anyone but does get long. Past a few thousand characters, send the JSON instead.

Export. SVG stays editable and sharp at any size; PNG is a 2× raster; JSON is the diagram itself, and the only format you can open again — drop one back on the canvas, or use the folder button. Autosave only covers this browser, so export the JSON if the drawing matters.
